Supports 98/ME/200/XP and MAC OS 9.0 and up (I tested it in knoppix 3.3 and it works) Product shots:Install went as easy as pie it's USB it just works like it should. The 2 gig test drive I use needed to be formatted and went with out a hitch. All was easy as pie under XP. It just worked. Test system:
Test software hard drive tach and Sandra 2005. Construction:The over all look is pretty sharp looking it is very light. Taking it apart though will worry those like me that aren’t too gentle. Portability:The enclosure is small enough for your LAN bag or book bag and it's light to carry. I'd be worried if you throw your bag around (but who does that with hardware in it). It gives you a choice for hooking it up USB 2.0 or FireWire which is a bonus. Everyone should have usb at least by now. The cable length is very good it lets me sit it on top of my mid tower . The base is sturdy not eay to knock over.Pt 2 to be releashed soon |
