Ultral Products ReviewReview of :
This will be a mass Ultra Products review. I feel that these items should be grouped as part of a showcase for Ultra Products. These items are a basic modding starter kit in my mind. These items are for sale as separate items they are not in a kit as of yet and we have no knowledge of any such kit being made, yet; But we feel it would be a great ideal if they made such a kit. We would like to thank Ultra Products for providing these items to us for review All the items in their packaging.(just want to rip them open and have at eh???) Ultra Titanium-Finish Case Fan 3-Pack:MSRP $29.99 Specs:
What's in the package:
I must say when you first see these you think ok; looks pimp but sounds like a jet right??? Wrong!!! These things are freaking quiet I had to unplug it just to check that it was running. They can be plugged into mother board header or the included molex spliter. I have a cpu fan that is louder then these fans. I feel for the price these are a great deal. Pros:
Cons: Colour options: Ultra 80mm Round UV Light Tubes:What's included?
These round UV tubes really light up and make fans like the Titainium Finished fans from Ultra stand out more . They would also be nice in SFF pc's cause they don't give off much heat. Pros:
Cons: I like that they include the pci back plate with switch already installed and wired but it only controles 2 that you get in the kit it would be easy to add more switches to the plate at least one more(if you buy these from them your going to get the tubes too). I broke one taking it out of a fan holder :( You have to use tiny bolts and nuts to hold it on why couldn't they set it up like a fan grill. Because of the bolts and nuts it's a pain to take out when it's case upgrade time. Over all this product is pretty good but with a revision or two it would be great. Ultra UV Light Tube:Pros:
Cons:
Over all I would be happy to put any of these items in my pc . The 120mm Fan is rather large fan I'm wondering where to put it. Heck you could use it asamini fan for yourself in the summer. |
