Postal 3 Interviewpt1
1. How was it working with the source
engine for Postal 3 thus far and can we expect more, sick and new ways
to
offend and piss off
the world? Tim
Wambolt: The Source
Editor has its ups and downs with limitations, but for the most part
there are
usually workaround solutions to every problem and luckily Valve is good
about
updating everything. POSTAL
3 will be offensive
in a humorous way, usually
the kind of people who enjoy Postal can appreciate our style on a
similar level
of entertainment that Troma and Jon
Merchant: The source engine is a fabulous and flexible engine perfect
for what
we want to achieve with POSTAL 3. We are lucky to be able to take
advantage of
the many new features Episode 2 has added.
Moving from the unreal engine to the source engine was a
rewarding
challenge.
2.
What can we expect from the new Postal
? TW: Since Postal 3 will be
next-gen we will try to meet and hopefully exceed XBOX360 standards,
you can
expect better graphics, insane gameplay, crazier weapons, new
characters to
mess with and bigger environments to explore. 3.
What new themes might be in the new
game? TW: We're implementing
branching paths of game-play that will alter the outcome based on the
player's
choice of actions. Not
only will this
give the game more diversity and replay-ability, but it will also
expand upon
the fact that Postal is all about freedom of choice. 4.
What about Postal Dude will he get a
companion? TW: Would the Postal Dude
break
his vows to his wife? He
does in the upcoming
POSTAL movie with a character named Faith. [www.postal-the-movie.com] Mike
Jaret: The dude
fucks
so many Russian hookers that his cock smells like borscht! Im not even
kidding….. 5.
Will his dog be in the game? TW: It wouldn't be POSTAL
without Champ! Expect more interaction and a bigger role for your
faithful
pitbull! JM:
Of
course! Champs a legend. 6.
Will we get to see his wife yet? TW: Maybe if the Dude was a
Necrophiliac! She
died in the Apocalypse. JM:
Only
if the dude decides to go and piss on her grave. |
